Aces Full: A full house with three aces and any pair. Ace High: A hand with no pair, flush or straight when the ace is the high card. Aces-Up: A hand that contains two pairs, one of which is aces. Action: Checks, fold, call, bet or raise. A Game that players are playing many pots would be considered an “action” game. Active player: A player still involved in a hand. Add-On: Purchasing more chips in a rebuy tournament, during add-on period. Aggressive Action: A bet or raise that could enable a player to win a pot. All Blue: A black flush. All-In: When all of a players chips are in the pot in a particular hand it is considered “all-in”. Some online sites consider a player “all-in” if the player is in a hand and is disconnected. All-Pink: A red flush. American Airlines: Two aces. Ante: A fraction of a bet placed in the pot by all players before a hand starts. Tournament poker will introduce an ante after so many blind levels have increased. |
